The Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity of Sacred Heart Community with its administrative office and convent lands located on the northwest side of Denver respectfully recognizes that the land we are on is the traditional homeland and hunting grounds of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute Nations. Our community also acknowledges that over our history to this region we have worked on and/or owned properties that are or were homelands of Native tribes. We acknowledge that the people of these nations and all their relatives are the original stewards of this land.
